The Tearabite eBook is FREE
I’m posting about this again because I still get emails and PM’s at DP Forums asking if I’m still selling my popular “Tearabite eBook”, originally available in this thread at DP Forums for $10.
The PDF version of the eBook sold almost 1,000 copies but several months after posting it for sale, I decided to give it away for free, here in the blog. It’s not in PDF format so you can’t download it and take it with you (or steal it and resell it like so many others did), but it has been updated and WTF, it’s free!
If you’re looking for the Free Tearabite eBook, you can go HERE to read it.

Update: Here is my entry
How Much Would You Pay For A Free Review?
Since I’m not really the world’s greatest blogger (i know, you’re shocked) I sometimes find myself struggling to find things to write about. Because I try to keep the blog focused on “how I do it” with regards to GrownUpGeek.com, I don’t have the luxury of posting things like “random rants“, “where I ate for dinner last night“, “the difference between buffalo and bison” or “airport bathrooms I hate the most” when I run out of real ideas like many other bloggers do. This leaves me with far fewer options to choose from when I’m trying to come up with good topics to write about.
In my quest to find more stuff to blog about in my downtimes I’m considering offering free paid reviews. That’s right - FREE paid reviews. Since my blog is “anti spam” and “Ad free” I can’t really charge for them so I’ve been thinking of doing these “paid” reviews for free - but I’m not sure how many of you would be interested in paying even that much.
The reviews would be written from my perspective and would be brutally honest -I would interject my thoughts and ideas for improvement, I would let you know if i like it or hate it, if I would visit the site or if I think others would, etc. Of course all reviews would include links to the site/blog I’m reviewing, but because I just moved from my old PR3 Blogger.com to my new sub-domain I don’t yet have any PR-Juice to squirt.
Since I’m really just toying with the idea, I’d like to gauge the interest in having your blog/site reviewed by the Great Randy Brown. If you think this is a lame idea or if you’d be willing to beg for a review by me, please cast your vote and/or post a comment.
Free eBook: Moving Beyond Adsense
How I diversified my website’s income sources:
After I got up and running with Adsense, I thought it would be a good idea to ‘diversify’ with other advertisers just in case Google decided they no longer wanted me or GrownUpGeek.com in their program. One of the Terms and Conditions that we all agreed to when signing up for Adsense is that Google may cancel our account at any time, for any reason, on a whim, whenever they feel like it – and they don’t need to give us any explanation as to why they did so. About all they have to tell you is “you’re out”.. and “goodbye”. And once out, a publisher can NEVER get back in. This does not happen often, but it does happen. It’s also possible that you may accidentally or unintentionally break some rule, and boom- you’re gone.. It is this inherent risk of using Adsense that makes it important to Read more
