How To Crash an iMac With Porn
After nearly a year I finally found a way to crash my iMac. It took a lot of time, sweat and “research”, but the payoff of that rarely-seen GSOD (Grey Screen of Death) makes it all worth it.
Here is the method I came up with to crash my Intel iMac:
What you will need: An Intel-based Apple (I use an iMac), Several hundred megabytes of porn videos, and an iPod
- Download or rip a few dozen porn videos. Each file should be large, at least 100MB or more. I got the best results with ‘run of the mill’ porn. Midget-porn and animal porn did not work as well for some reason.
- After thoroughly reviewing each porn video move them into the Trash Bin and reboot
- After rebooting start iTunes and download the newest ShoeMoney podcasts - (You might have to wait several months for a new podcast before you can complete this step.)
- Plug in your iPod and manually synchronize
- After the iPod sync is complete, close iTunes
- Begin a Secure-Erase of the Trashbin. If your porn files are large enough, this should take a few minutes per file
- While Finder is choking trying to secure-erase your porn, POWER-OFF your iPod - If you did everything right and if your porn was good quality, you should be greeted with a GSOD.
